(A silly example by Author, Nonnie Jules)

The month of April is filled with ways

To celebrate those awesome days…of spring.

But with the horrid rains and “fruitcakes” rule

Who can have fun with  April Showers & April Fools?

But, we mustn’t let it get us down

Because no matter where, fools abound

So, if there’s no sun inside your glare

It’s all because April Showers & April Fools are everywhere.

My Writing Process Blog Tour and Giveaway

I was thrilled to be able to nominate my dear friend Jennie to participating in “The Writing Process” blog tour. Our friendship, as Jennie states, goes back to our first meeting in 2003 when we were both struggling to get answers to our illnesses.

In conjunction with “My Writing Process” blog tour, I will be giving away a $10 Amazon gift card to one of the readers of this post who leaves a comment. Here is how it will work. At the end of this week, I will write the name of each person who has left a comment on this blog on a slip of paper. All slips will go into a hat, and I’ll have my husband draw a slip from the hat. An Amazon gift card worth $10 will go to the person whose slip he draws, so be sure to leave your email address for possible delivery. The giveaway will close at midnight on Friday, April 4, 2014.

Confessions of a Lipreading Mom free through Saturday. I picked up my copy.

Lipreading Mom

Confessions Cover 3D

Friends, if you’ve wanted to read my book, Confessions of a Lip Reading Mom, I have a surprise for you. This Friday and Saturday only, the book will be available *for free download* on Amazon Kindle.

Click here to access Confessions of a Lip Reading Mom on Amazon Kindle. Remember, it’s free only on March 28-29.

In this book, I explore the roller coaster ride of progressive hearing loss, which was diagnosed two months after the birth of my first child. I was 27. Three healthy kids later, my hearing loss accelerated. Sounds once taken for granted – the doorbell, smoke alarms, baby cries – became quiet. In the midst of imminent and unexplained deafness, the book describes my struggle and eventual discovery of God’s grace.

I hope you enjoy the book! Please leave a review on Amazon once you’ve read it.

This blog is less than 2 months old.  I started it as a way to support my fellow authors in a way that just didn’t work with my other blog, Allergic to Life.  I wasn’t sure how it would take off, how well it would be accepted, or how I would manage to keep up two blogs at the same time.

Today I am happy to say that “Be My Guest” is on its way and I owe it all to you, my followers.  Thank you all for finding your way here and choosing to follow along with me.  I truly appreciate each and every one of you who are following and participating through comments and reblogging of my posts.  I promise to continue to bring more authors to you in the form of interviews and reviews.

So pull up a chair, grab your favorite cup of coffee or tea, and enjoy the wonderful and amazing people I am meeting along my journey.
